Job Description

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Biological interpretation: You apply your understanding of OMICs (Transcriptomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics) and biology to review, interpret, and validate results within experiments, ensuring outputs make scientific sense.
  • Collaboration: Engage with diverse stakeholders, including Scientific Experts, Product, and Data teams, to provide assistance with technical issues related to data and support their research requirements.
  • You will contribute to the development and implementation of bioinformatics pipelines for AAV production lifecycle data analysis and visualization.
  • Data Standards: You make sure that data fetched by agents is well structured and described by means of metadata (FAIR) to maximize the value of data in the Organization.
  • Collaborate on the optimization of production processes and the implementation of statistical methodologies.

Your profile

  • Bioinformatics Knowledge: You possess a solid understanding of OMICs, molecular biology, or bioinformatics, allowing you to effectively review AI-generated scientific insights.
  • Communication: You have excellent communication skills that allow you to work with scientific experts and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders across the Philadelphia and Penzberg site.
  • Technical Expertise: The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in bioinformatics and is adept at the design, construction, scaling, and optimization of advanced bioinformatics pipelines and AI applications. High proficiency in R programming.
  • Tool integration: You are able to explore the tooling landscape provided by our core IT department, identifying, picking, and combining the best available tools to solve our specific scientific problems.
  • Mindset: You are open to new ideas and question conventional thought patterns valuing a performance-driven environment fueled by mutual respect, discussion, and collaboration.
  • Language: Your fluent English allows you to work efficiently in a global environment.
