job summary:
Our client, a dynamic global innovator in Greenville, SC, is seeking a Design Engineer. This role requires a BS in Engineering and 2+ years of mechanical design experience with rotating machinery to collaborate with a talented team building high-quality, cutting-edge solutions.

salary: $41.00 - 58.22 per hour
work hours: 8am to 5pm

responsibilities:

• Partner with the Global Supply Chain to resolve hardware non-conformances and continuously drive cross-functional improvements.

• Support design for producibility and lead hardware qualifications for new processes, equipment, and special technologies (like castings and coatings).

• Apply Hot Gas Path (HGP) design and manufacturing expertise to enhance component functionality, reduce costs, and increase overall value.

• Proactively reduce defects and improve processes by participating in Supply Chain Kaizens and Lean Action Workouts.

• Cultivate a positive, collaborative work environment that champions morale, agility, and uncompromising quality.
