Job Description

Salary: $100 - 117,000 per year Requirements:

  • Proven experience in developing and supporting EDI solutions using the Edifecs platform.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare EDI transaction sets and HIPAA standards (X12).
  • Proficiency with SpecBuilder, Transaction Management (XEngine), Smart Trading, and Smart Engine.
  • Capability to perform unit testing, integration testing, and offer production support for EDI transactions.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with both technical and business teams.
  • Experience in onboarding healthcare trading partners and managing payer or provider integrations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare claims, eligibility, enrollment, and authorization workflows is beneficial.
  • Background in supporting EDI platforms within high-transaction-volume production environments is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of system upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning within the Edifecs framework.
  • Previous experience in large enterprise healthcare or payer settings is a remarkable asset.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement EDI solutions utilizing the Edifecs platform, including SpecBuilder, XEngine (Transaction Management), and Edifecs Enterprise.
  • Construct, configure, and maintain EDI transaction sets and trading partner maps adhering to healthcare standards such as 837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 834, and 278.
  • Develop and manage workflows employing Smart Trading and Smart Engine to facilitate partner onboarding and transaction processing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and trading partners to convert business and functional requirements into technical EDI specifications.
  • Monitor EDI transactions, resolve issues, provide support for production incidents, and ensure timely resolutions across various environments.
