The Master Data Manager will be responsible for all data integrity of SKUs in the area rug ERP system called SPARS. This is a critical role for the company due to the importance of the item data, which interfaces with numerous sales platforms and customer-facing connections (such as EDI inventory feeds). The company continues to grow and add product categories. Each product category carries its own set of rules, based on industry standards. The role will be involved in numerous projects, working with Digital teams, marketing, IT resources, executives, and company ownership.

The manager must make sure that there is data integrity between the system and work closely with the Accounts Payable department to provide direction and partnership efforts. This is a hands-on position where the manager must know how to perform all of the tasks related to the Master Data team. There are team members that are designated as members of the Master Data Team, but are not dedicated to Master Data full time. However, they are knowledgeable about the related processes and will be available for the Master Data Manager to use for accomplishing departmental goals.
