Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Indianapolis, IN

Schedule:

1st Shift – Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support logistics and tooling operations within an aviation repair and maintenance environment. This role will work closely with the logistics and tooling teams to ensure accurate handling, tracking, and movement of aircraft engine parts and tools. The position may require up to 5% domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage shipping and receiving of aircraft engine parts and tooling
• Ensure all documentation and export control requirements are accurately followed
• Inspect aircraft parts for damage and verify documentation such as FAA 8130-3 and EASA Form 1
• Operate forklifts and material handling equipment to load/unload tooling and engine components
• Support tooling operations including tool tracking and accountability
• Assist mechanics with tooling needs and material movement
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Provide support on a 24/7 basis , including weekends and holidays as needed
• Lift and move materials (up to 30 lbs independently, 70 lbs with assistance)

✅ Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3+ years of warehouse/logistics experience in a manufacturing environment (aviation preferred),
• OR
• Associate’s degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
• Experience handling aviation materials and tooling
• Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience in aviation, aerospace, or regulated environments
