Production Assistant

A local Production facility is looking for motivated Production Assistants to assist in various aspects of producing Interior & Exterior Doors!

Production Assistant Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $22.08 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Third Shift ( Monday through Friday from 08:00pm to 04:30am )

• Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
• Work on the door assembly line, building doors and inspect all products for quality
• Machining doors for hardware installation
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
• In all functions, maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety rules

Production Assistant Qualifications:

• Past experience in commercial woodworking (doors, millwork, cabinets, etc.)
• Past experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• General knowledge of building materials and tools such as a hammer, saw, nail and staple guns
• Can perform simple math and use basic hand-held measuring tools

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
