The Production Office Assistant provides administrative and operational support to production leadership while serving as a key liaison between production, human resources, and other support departments. This role helps ensure accurate employee records, production reporting, and operational documentation while supporting the day-to-day needs of a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

What you'll do:

Production Administration

  • Support production leadership with administrative tasks and operational reporting
  • Track, compile, and maintain production performance data and productivity metrics
  • Assist with preparation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
  • Maintain production records, documentation, and filing systems
  • Support meeting coordination, note-taking, and record retention activities

Employee & HR Support

  • Serve as a liaison between production operations and human resources teams
  • Support onboarding, employee record maintenance, and workforce administration processes
  • Assist with employee timekeeping, attendance tracking, and reporting
  • Support employee documentation, benefits administration, and personnel record management
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee and company information

Reporting & Data Management

  • Prepare reports related to productivity, attendance, quality, and operational performance
  • Monitor and maintain databases, records, and administrative systems
  • Ensure accuracy of production and workforce data
  • Assist with data entry, audits, and record reconciliation activities

Office & Operational Support

  • Coordinate office supply and production support purchases as needed
  • Support communication between production teams and administrative departments
  • Assist with special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide general administrative support to production leadership
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
  • Experience working in manufacturing, production, construction, or industrial environments (preffered)
  • Bilingual communication skills preferred
  • Combination of office and production-floor environments
  • Frequent interaction with employees, supervisors, and support departments
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout a manufacturing facility
  • Exposure to production environments that may include noise, dust, and varying temperatures
  • May require occasional extended hours based on operational needs
