salary: $49,816 - $49,817 per year

Responsibilities
- Fabrication & Casting: Assemble parts using manual and tool-assisted methods. This includes working with "castable" (refractory concrete) and performing specialized tasks like flashing and brazing.
- Equipment Operation: Use a variety of hand and power tools such as drills, saws, tape measures, and calipers.
- Material Handling: Operate a forklift (Christy typically provides training) to move raw materials and finished heavy industrial products.
- Technical Compliance: Read and interpret basic blueprints and drawings to ensure correct part placement and dimensions.
- Quality & Maintenance: Perform routine masonry work or tending, maintain a clean workspace (shoveling material/removing buildup), and document work as required.
- Safety: Strictly adhere to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and company safety protocols.
The essential functions of this role include:
- wearing steel toe shoes
- working in a non-temperature controlled environment
- manual lifting up to 75lbs
- standing for 10 hours at one time
