Job Description

Job Summary:

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will develop, implement, and periodically evaluate a program to ensure the organization's production operations, from raw materials to finished products, meet the quality, integrity, and efficiency standards set by the organization.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction in the development of effective quality policies and programs which ensure that the organization produces quality products.
• Audit quality functions for compliance with established systems and standards; recommends corrective action as necessary.
• Lead and manage audits from customers or other entities (IATF) to sustain high-quality performance.
• Set up and maintain the quality system
• Assist Project management in product development through PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Represent quality at quotations, F&D meetings , and engineering design review meetings.
• Define, train, and monitor the requirements and performance of all quality departments.
• Coordinate all internal non-conforming reports and take appropriate action.
• Train and Manage plant contacts to successfully support Plant managers on the 8D corrective action projects.
• Manage customer quality concerns and returns and assist in the resolution, documentation, and customer responses to product complaints.
• Responsible for Internal Quality Standards.
• Coordinate and train the quality department on problem-solving methods.
• Responsible for statistical process control.
• Develop and manage TQS (total quality standard).
• Facilitate and assist plants in defining and successfully completing Quality Objectives.
• Manage Supplier Approval and Development program.
• Work with cross-functional for follow-up on internal corrective actions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred, or the equivalent of education and 5-8 years of progressive Quality experience
• 5 to 8 years of progressive Quality experience is required.
• 4+ years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with IATF 16949 or ISO 9001 quality standards.
• Working knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, CP, MSA, SPC, PPAP).

This is an ONSITE role, remote work is not available.
