Job Description

We have an outstanding Contract position for a Shipper/Capper to join a leading Company located in the Fullerton, CA surrounding area.

Pay Rate: $23.00

We are seeking a reliable anddetail-oriented Shipper/Capper to support our aerospace fittings manufacturing operation.This is an entry-level, hands-on role focused on preparing finished products for shipment by protecting parts from damage and ensuring they meet packaging requirements. This position requires a strong sense of urgency and the ability to maintain a consistent production pace in a fast-moving environment. While prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is helpful, we are willing to train candidates who bring a strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare finished parts for shipment by:
    • Placing protective caps on threaded components
    • Bagging parts to prevent contamination or damage
    • Applying nets, caps, and layering materials for safe transportation
  • Ensure all products are protected from scratches, dents, or other damage prior toshipping
  • Maintain a steady workflow with a focus on speed and accuracy
  • Meet production expectations of approximately 360 - 500 pieces per hour
  • Inspect parts visually during handling to ensure basic quality standards are met
  • Follow all packaging instructions and customer requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work closely with shipping and production teams to ensure timely order completion
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Basic Hiring Criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • No prior experience required - training provided
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to work at a consistent pace in a high-volume environment
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or production environments
  • Experience working in high-speed, volume-based roles
  • Familiarity with basic quality awareness or product handling
