Overview
Surgical Technologist (Surgical Tech) — Travel assignment in Norman, Oklahoma. Start date 05/04/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay $2,258–$2,389 per week with 40 guaranteed hours. Shift: 4x10-hour days. This is a hospital-based travel assignment requiring operating room experience and teamwork to support sterile technique and patient safety.

Responsibilities
- Assist the surgeon during operative procedures, anticipating needs and maintaining instrument flow.
- Maintain a safe and aseptic environment in the operating room and ensure sterile technique is consistently observed.
- Prepare, pass, and manage surgical instruments and supplies; assist with counts and specimen handling as required.
- Support patient safety through correct positioning, draping, and coordination with the surgical team.
- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and hospital policies; communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements
- Completion of a Surgical Technology program or five consecutive years of training/experience as a surgical tech (REQUIRED)
- CVOR experience (REQUIRED)
- BLS certification (REQUIRED); NBSTSA certification preferred
- LPN with one year surgical tech experience preferred
- Two supervisory references from the past 12 months
- Ability to work in a hospital operating room and participate in the on-call schedule
