The Position: Provide gardening and horticultural services. Together we set learning objectives and tasks, supervise and coach, then provide feedback and evaluation.

Compensation:

Dependent on experience, work history and landscape acumen. Starting hourly pay is $19.35-$25.75 USD per hour plus Performance Pay for attentive and efficient work. This combined hourly work total ranges from $22-$33+ per hour. Additionally, we pay travel time between customers, paid training, and ongoing education at $15.00 per hour! SIMPLE IRA after one year helps with retirement. $300/ month Health coverage reimbursement (HRA) available for full time employees after a period of time. Also, unheard of Performance Pay! Our goal is your financial stability.

Additional bonuses may include (but are not limited to) free apparel, gift card(s), paid meal(s) and bonus pay. Direct-hire, W-2 positions.

Responsibilities:

A. Ability to provide gardening services independently and as a team

B. Ability to learn, improve and maintain an excellent attitude

C. Always communicating in a positive, honest and productive manner with customers and workers

D. Physically performing all landscape duties in varying and changing outdoor conditions in a precise and controlled manner to company and customer specifications

E. Timeliness, preparedness, and professionalism in dress, appearance, communication and attitude

F. Conforming to industry best practices for personal safety and safety of others

Desired Requirements:

All must have at least (1) ONE year experience in Customer Service, Landscaping/Gardening, and solid knowledge of trade principles, drainage and sequencing of tasks. Experience in a remodeling trade is a plus but not required. Those with professional horticultural experience, Pesticide Applicator's licensure, and landscape experience strongly encouraged.

Must be able to work with composted organic materials, plant, trim, weed, and capable of repetitious lifting, bending, kneeling and standing in adverse weather conditions on difficult terrain. Must have reliable transportation to customer's homes, mainly in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. In addition, due to the frequent, publicly-visible work environment, all must be professional and show good moral judgement at work and in the community.
